Overview of our Services:

Our tailored services for young people with ASC aged from 15 to 25 years includes weekly term-time Leisure group days in the community plus a fun monthly Super Saturday group for young people with ASC to enjoy themed days. During the holidays (non term-time) we have our Leisure Group Plus which offers a wide range of engaging activities.

At Beyond we have expanded our services further for our young adults with ASC and have introduced the ASDAN Focus stand-alone modules for Post 16 learners. These are ideal for learners aged 16 plus with additional needs. Beyond provide visual resources to support the Focus materials providing maximum learning potential for our young people.

We also provide Individual Programmes of Support and a Visual Information Consultancy service for families and professionals to support young people with ASC.

At Beyond we are truly passionate about providing services that truly benefit young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Our services consider the key interests of each young person and provide high quality, person-centred activities to promote communication and language development, reduce anxiety, build confidence, raise self- esteem and encourage independence.

We have considered the unique learning style of each young person with ASC providing the support strategies needed to learn and thrive. We are registered with Out of School Alliance and follow guidance from the NAS; implementing a range of complimentary techniques to create safe ‘autism friendly’ environments across our services including elements from TEACCH, SPELL, Social Stories and Comic Strip Conversations.

We promote the use of visual information and small steps to learning combined with a highly structured routine and regular exercise to create calm and positive learning environments.

Through collaborating with our families, the local community and our young people with ASC the services we have provided have enabled them to develop fundamental skills for a happy and fulfilling life putting our young people at the forefront of what we provide.
